XREAS dropped for '06 V6

I read in another forum that Toyota is planning on dropping the XREAs suspension on '06 V6 equipped Sports and Limiteds.

Has anyone heard this rumor? I have no official info.

I don't see the point in having a V6 sport if that is the case since that was the main differentiating feature between the SR5 and The Sport (besides the hood)

I can say with VERY GOOD certainty that the 2006 V6 Sport still has XREAS as standard equipment per Toyota specs.

That would be a shame. After owning two jeeps, which flounder in the corners, I really appreciate a tighter handling vehicle. I believe until recently, last few years or so, it was unheard of for a 4000 lb plus vehicle with a high center of gravity, to handle this well.
