XREAS Replacement Alternatives

I am curious if anyone can outline XREAS replacement alternatives for me?

I want to replace my XREAS but don't want to lift more than 1.5 inches and maintain similar ride quality / performance to the XREAS.

What are my options replacement coilovers from say rockauto or an SR5 setup?

Can you just do a spacer lift when you have XREAS ? Just wondering how feasible it is to install a daystar budget boost or similar spacer lift ?

so really the only options are to lift with new complete coilovers. Or go the OEM SR5 / Limited route?

Or I can just buy OEM non-xrea shock and struts. Remove the Xreas and reuse the xrea coils spring front and back.

I installed some new take-off Tacoma TRD parts for about an inch of lift in the front. The parts were separated so I did invest in a new top bushing and associated hardware at the same time.

For the rear I used the Tacoma TRD shocks but had to replace the lower bushing (Tacoma used a much smaller bolt instead of going over a stud mount). I managed to source some FJ rear springs on the cheap as well.

Total investment...about $300. So long as you're patient, Craigslist and the forums can be your best friends. :keyboard:
