When installing a lift kit, is it more difficult to work on the front or the rear, due to Xreas?

front is harder because the coil and shock are assembled as one piece. so when installing spacers to retain the xreas, you need to keep the shock in it's rather cramped wheel well location and disassemble the shock/coil and add the necessary spacer.

the rear is simple as you just have to compress the rear coil and add the spacer on top.

this only applies to xreas that wants to add spacers.

note that you will need to make sure all the tires are off the ground so the xreas system is not in a pressurized system.

isn't there a scheduled wrenchathon in feb? just wondering.

If you do it at the right spot , you can just disconnect the Xreas and the shock out and put it back together when done.

You will not loose pressure. CHECK WITH DEALER FOR EXACT LOCATION.
