XS D3100 battery?

Has anyone tried the XS D3100 battery? It looks as if it's a powerful well made battery with 1100 CCA and 5000watt output. I've been doing some battery research to replace my batteries on my dual setup. Either odyssey, Sears platinum, North Star or the XS d3100 or different size depending on fitment.

I currently have a Sears PM-1 as my main battery (just barely fits) and a yellow top as my auxiliary because I happen to have a free extra one in my garage. I want to change them both out because they are getting older and have been abused. I'm also upgrading [email protected] alternator to a 240amp and doing the big three wire upgrade.

The thanks.

what are you gonna use them for? In the car audio world XS is the go to for competitions. They are a beast of a battery but pricey.

Not for car audio but winching lighting, inverter and other electronics operating like USB charging ports that fit in unused blanks switch locations. The USB ports are way cleaner and look nice compared to an adapter on the 12v power port.

I think I'm going with group 31 North Star AGM batteries. They have contracts either the military for their batteries and I watched a battery test and North Star killed it compared to the xd3100. The XS seem to have a major issue with engine heat also. The top plate on a North Star is the largest in the industry, even beating odyssey.(which was [email protected] alternative choice). It all comes down to price and availability now.
