yakima basketcase anyone?

did a search but no results turned up..anyone have the yakima basketcase? i was going to pick it up but wanted to see really how it lays on the 3rd gen 4runner. the guy is selling for 50. does it fit on factory roof rack system? its mainly going to be for looks. not carrying a spare or anything

go for it dude... there is a thread on YT that has all different types of roof rack baskets on 3rd gens. Itll look fine dude and i say if its for only $50 then u should definitely go for it and if u end up not liking it u can sell it!

it should fit on factory and for that price just get it, if you don't like it sell it for 75!!!

I would say yes, they will fit a 3rd gen....I paid $50.00 for this one.
I took it off my '96 when I sold it and put it on my wifes '97.

if this is wat ur talking about then i vote no also... there was a roof rack on CL here in SA for $50 that is much better looking so id just hold out til u find something a little nicer looking.

lol ya it seems cheap bc the advertisement is a sham. Its $42 for the net that covers the yakima roof basket... not the actually basket itself. The best way to ensure this typically is to take the model number that is in the ad title and search it in google shopping.

phew...good...i dont need to spend any more money . but i read the description..and it explains it like its the actual CARGO BASKET..maybe this could be something u can buy..argue that the description wasn't clear and get the basket at that price..
