yakima crossbar size

what size crossbars do you guys recommend with lowerider system on an 08 4runner? 48" or 58"

58"

Gives you about a 3 to 4 " over hang on the bars. I tried 48 and it did not work.

just making sure no one else uses 48" bars. im finding good deals on 48" bars with lowriders but no 58" bars

can't recall exactly, but if the sizes were 48, 58, xx, yy then yes I went 58 as well. Just a slight overhang. I would not go larger unless you really need to.

I also bought the yak load stops - excellent buy!
