Yakima Megawarrior - Accessories alternative?!?!

I have a Yakima Megawarrior and I want to mount 4 lights, an axe, and a shovel, but the amount of money they charge for the factory Yakima light bracket ($40) and axe/shovel brackets ($50) is outrageous!!! So my question is: has anyone found a less expensive, effective way to mount lights and an axe/shovel on their Megawarrior?

I have solutions to mount everything mentioned. As for the lights you will need some Yakima accessory mounts and some gasket material (the lower bar on the baskets is smaller than the top). The shovel and ax mount can be accomplished with a simple atv gun rack, sounds rigged but it looks good. I have the rack but have yet to mount it. See pics below.
