Hey was wondering if someone could tell me approx how much more these wheels will stick out compared to my stock split spokes. I thought it would be a good amount and I could maybe ditch the spacers but the guy at discount said only about a quarter inch. Is this true? Even with the negative offset? Staying with 16inch BTW.

Nevermind here is a great table. It would be 4.25 and probably be close to flush with the flare.

Oh cool I wish I saw that chart earlier. So according to that I guess it is about a quarter inch. So only a quarter inch more room for the UCA's and my front tires will still look too narrow.. have good amount of lift up front. Maybe I can just run spacers in the front. This is frustrating... not sure if it is worth buying new wheels...?

... hard enough to find wheels you like for a decent price and then backspace/ offset/ control arms issue's to deal with. Grrrrr...

I really like the wheels JMoney has but OF COURSE they are discontinued :smashputer:

They shouldn't look too narrow depending on how far you like your wheels to stick out. Fightman has the same spec wheels and they stick out a fair amount. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/86847-wheel-selection.html Your sport flares should be just about even with the edge of the tread. Also you will have .4" more space between the UCA and your tire with those rims. That should be enough.

First, thanks for replies!

His tires look like they stick out as much as mine do right now (which is what I want).. I have 2inch spacers in front and 1.5 in back. When I put my tires on before they were waaaay too narrow it looked ridiculous and rubbed. I have the billy's set on highest setting and it really made the wheel base look narrow (hopefully this makes sense). His front lift is less I think which is part of it I guess.

I'd be pretty surprised if the tread went to the edge of the flare without spacers but that would be great. I know they wouldn't rub but I also want it to have a nice stance.

No problem. I have lX450 rims (4.5" 16x8) and 265/75/16's and they are about .4" from the edge. I think you should be good with those rims since you will be gaining 1.4" due to the extra 1" from the rim width and the .4" from the offset.

Yeah that's true they will be wider sticking out plus less backspace. Forgot too tho that I read 8 inch because of being wider can go into the UCA's even with less backspacing... ugh. Making my head hurt.. maybe I'm over thinking this a tad.. haha.

F it I ordered them. I like the way they look. Remind me kinda of a mix of Sequoia and something else. Think they will look sweet black too which I may do after I get a black bumper. I'll post some pics when they are on.
