Yellow Fogs? Suggestions

I know that yellow fogs are supposably the best with rain and fog so I was wondering what you guys think are the best? I also really like the way the bright yellow fogs look on Infinti QX4s so i want something along those lines to.

Are the Nokya Hyper Yellow bulbs any good? i couldn't find a picture of them on a 4runner but i did find a pic of the Luminics JDM yellows.

i have two plasma ion yellow piaa's on the front of mine because of all the driving in the snow fog and rain i do ( i love winter sports) and ill tell you that a yellow light is so amazing it cuts right through all the elements. I went with the piaa's for a reason they work very well.
 
i know luminics headlight bulbs, or atleast the pure blue are very lackluser with light, but for bulbs that are straight blue i guess i could have expected that so thats why i had to yank them and go with the silverstars. but with a pure yellow light that should show up alot better on the road

are the PIAA ions very very yellow? like a noticable? snow is not a problem for me so i'm going for looks slightly over performance, but performance would be very nice.

edit: fount a pic of the lights, are they really that bright looking?

sloan, ill try to take a picture of mine for you but im not sure how they will turn out. there yellow for sure but hell idk. ill do what i can for you.
 
thanks man, i'm thinking about getting them but i dont wanna drop 60 bucks on some bulbs if i'm not 100 percent on them ya know what i mean?
 
ive had both the piaas and the luminics and i have to say the luminics are worth the money you pay for them if not more!

the piaas are good but they are overly priced.
 
You won't notice any difference with the yellow fogs. I've tried them, but didn't see any significant difference.

If you want to get the look, the cheapest way would be to go get some yellow tinted Lamin-X. It's a great way to protect the fog lenses, too. I remember my 02 had chips and cracks from road debris. I believe www.lamin-x.com is the site.

yea i have checked them out before but unfortunatly they don't make the stuff for 3rd gen 4runners
 
If you guys really do want the PIAA's i will get a price on them. I work for a performance shop, and owned my own for 5 years prior to this, so i do have some connections for these types of things still.
 
Lamin-x films are pretty good i had tried them before as well.. p nut is right you could just buy a sheet and cut em to specs..
 
i'm about to order the h3 nokya hyper yellows, the box claims its 70 watts. is that to much for the stock fog harness? or is that just saying what it produces?
 
It's putting out a 70w light output but the pull is still a safe 55w.

I'm probably going to get the same ones.
 
just keep an eye on the plug and wiring ... i used to sell the nokya stuff, and while its okay for the cheap stuff, it did melt certain cars wiring
