Yellow fogs with HID kit ???

i just had a retrofit hid done to my 2005 SR5. i want yellow fogs and i am torn between 3 bullbs that are available.I do not want to do my fogs with HID so i am looking at halogens.Do not factor in price,just quality. our fogs are projectors correct? they appear to be.

Nokya hyper yellow
Luminics JDM yellow
Luminics Krypton yellow

and they recommend harnesses, but nobody really uses them,your thoughts?

I believe 03-05 use projectors in the fogs and 06+ use the non- projectors. Thats reversed with the headlights. Someone correct me i'm wrong!
 
Definitely do not go with the Nokya. I had a pair (only $10) that were done after no more than a month and a half. I really like the yellow fog look with HID's, that's what I have now but with PIAA 510's. Yes, the fogs are projectors on your vehicle; but quick question why does that make a difference? You don't really need harnesses but do not go cheap with the bulbs, you may want to spend the money and get PIAA replacement bulbs instead of these off brand Japanese bulbs. HID's are nice in the fogs but IMO it's nicer in the 06+ fogs than the projector fogs.

The 2nd link shows the wrong picture but is the right part no.

You have to google PIAA bulbs that aren't on the site, their website also didn't list the 921 (W2) bulb in Xtreme white that I have in my reverse lamps.

that price is $45 more than Nokya and $30 more than Luminics. seems very high

I've been using a combination of Nokya and Hella bulbs in 4 vehicles and have had no problems with either. I'm using Hella Optilux Extreme XY's in my fogs on 3 cars and if I recall, they're 2500K and provide excellent contrast in dark, foul weather. Much better than the 3500-4000K stock bulbs.

I have never heard of nokya or luminics, PIAA on the other hand is well reputed brand and a name that most recognizably associate with high quality lights. I had a 2 or 3 sets of cheap japanese bulbs that claim to produce a pretty color for my low beams. After about a year and blowing several of those bulbs, I spent the extra money on PIAAs and have had them for several years now, and swapped them from my old truck to my t4r. PIAAs are expensive, but I would at least get hella or sylvania, and you said not to factor in price in the original post.
Also, why are harnesses recommended? I just plugged my PIAA bulbs right in, no one asked me if wanted any harnesses.
I also waited and found the PIAA bulbs for around $40

i said dont factor price into the 3 bulbs i was asking about. PIAA was not in my list, just because they are soooo overpriced.

Yea they are high because they are name brand and going to last longer. I ran two sets of Noyka bulbs in my stock fogs and both sets one side or the other would go out in no more than a couple months.
