Yes or No to applying dielectric grease to coils?

I will be replacing spark plugs soon and wanted to ask my fellow forum members if applying dielectric grease to the coil connections is an additional thing to do while I'm at it.
I was also going to replace the coils, but several forum members have advised others that, if there doesn't appear to be a problem with the existing coils, leave them be!
So, yea or nay to the Permaex grease?

Dielectric grease is an insulator and as these are coil-on-plug and only receive 12V I don't think there is any benefit. You want a low impedance connection.

Leave them dry and clean. You may want to put a very light amount at the end of the boots, but that's it.

As said a little at the end of the boot. That's it.

I use a q-tip to apply a small amount to the inner wall of the boot. Not to the contact surfaces between the conductors on the plug or coil.
