OK, whaddaya people think? I just received this last week and finally got around to posting a Pic....I had to do this, I've been diving for like 14 years....so far there's only 3 of these in Hawaii....I just hope no one steals this!!

Thanks to "curtis"-(senior member) for giving me the idea to rebadge and a huge BIG UPS!!! to Steve at billetbadges.com for all the back and forth communication over like 2 months to get this exactly how I wanted it.

It's 1.5" by 6" and made of polished aluminum and came with adhesive backed (Steve said 3 times stronger than the stuff on the stock badges!!) Yeah dude!

If any of you people want tog et this contact Steve and send my royalties!!!:D

I gotta debagde my tailgate and put this baby on with my iForceV8 emblem......

Couple questions, were you able to design that compleltly? And how much was it?

Absolutely, exactly the way I wanted it, down to the font type and size, color, flag size and Steve got it to fit on a 1.5X6" badge cuz I didn't want it too big.

I originally wanted to superimpose the Toyota oval emblem design on the flag but he could'nt do that because of size limitation but it came out way better than expected anyway.

3 badges came out to 175....$55 each split 3 ways, which is a damn good deal considering if you went to a stealership they'd charge you like 30 bucks for a chrome plated plastic emblem that everyone has! so 25$ more for custom? No question....

Check www.billetbadges.com (shameless plug-I hope he gives me a discount the next order I make:D ) and hook up with Steve.

the process took me about 4-5 weeks to get it right and he sent me several design ideas based on what I wanted. When you almost have it ready to be made, he sent me a pdf file "to scale"...you can print it and cut it out and place it on your 4R to check for placement and look. Once I approved it, it took about 2-3 weeks after that......

Steve makes it real easy and the communication is great...the hard part is figuring out something unique!

Tnaks for the link

I do dive from time to time, unfortunately I don't live near paradise USA, but I have traveled to Bermuda, Key Largo, Cancun, and a couple of Rock quaries in PA.
I love the way the badge looks.
The Only thing I would have done differently is to leave the existing "4runner" badge on the back and have Steve make just the flag and the "Fredive Edition" on one badge then glueing the new badge below the "4runner" badge. But that is just me.

I tell you what, you got the bug in me, now I am thinking of all kinds of stuf i can do. You guys might think this is F'ed up but I am considering something like the one CoralKillah has but have it display the following.
Imagine this, a soccer ball the size of the flag above and the words "SOCCER EDITION" for the back, and for the sides, use the same font style as what is there "Sport Edition" and replace it with "Soccer Dad Edition".
My little girl will begin Soccer lessons this September, I am so looking forward to it.

Another place these look really good is on the dash if you have room. Can't speak for the 4th Gen but for my 3rd Gen 02 there is a spot way low on the center console. I have two 12v plugs for Acc. that I don't use. I mounted one of mine in that space with some Velcro. If I want to use the 12v plugs, I just take the Badge off, swing the plug cover open and use.

Made an ugly space, IMO much better to look at.

Be creative. These are really fun, well built, not terribly expensive and of your own design.
