$2.89 here at the Jersey shore...seems to be the ONLY thing cheaper here than most other states, agh...

Cincinnati, Ohio. Most of the stations around me have regular at $3.19. But I have seen it as high as $3.29. With crude trading at nearly $100 a barrel and with everything that has been going on in Pakistan and the rest of the Middle East, we can only hope it doesn't go higher.

As of 01/04/08 here in Eastern, Pennsylvania:
- 87 Octane = $3.199
- 89 Octane = $3.299
- 91 Octane = $3.499
- Diesel = $3.599
- 87 Octane = $3.199

It's 104.9 per liter here in BC (prince george specifically).

UK and Finland
In November I was in London, Birmingham, Helsinki and Oulu Finland with work.
Gas in the UK was the equivallent of about $7 USD per US Gallon, in Finland it was more, but I didnt rent a car, so dont have a receipt
and if your wondering, Santa Clause is a Finnish invention, and its northern Finland is where he is alegedly from. Oulu in November was like -22 degrees C (very close to -22 F) in anycase cold enogh to freeze body parts off.
and If you have a Nokia cell phone, now you know where they are designed/tested

Very interesting. I didn't realize it was that much more, I thought it was less than x2 more. I wonder the reason? Given our longer distances (within the US, resulting in more driving needed) and their HUGE taxes, I would expect it to be cheaper here, but given the value of the dollar and our complaining, I would expect it to be more expensive here.
I think in the end, It's probably the tax rates. My guess is European govt.'s have upped the tax in an effort to drive renewable resources and a less dependency, much like our govt. has done and would like to do more so with tobacco.
