I am looking for a mild 2 inch or 3 inch lift. I want the truck to handle as well on road as it does off road. I am not into extreme rock crawling, but the goal is for the 4runner to be able to go where my old 80 series landcruiser could go. (which is just about anywhere). I have read many many threads on the subject, and have narrowed it down to 3 choices. but I am still confused!
Option1: Toytec Ultimate Lift (600front/ OME 906 rear)
Lift: 2 inch front and rear
Pros: Adjust-ability, Superior shocks (bilstein 5100s/5125s)
Cons: Price
Option2: OME complete lift kit (880 or 881 coil front, either 906 or 890 rear)
Lift: 1 -2.5 inch front, 2-3 inch rear
Pros: Easy package deal, cheap.
Cons: TOO MANY SPRING CHOICES! read many varied opinons, etc. Some say the shocks are too stiff, others say they are not stiff enough, etc.
Option 3: Custom setup (TRD Tundra front coil w/ billie 5100, rear OME 890 w/ billie 5125)
Lift: 2.5 inch front, 3inch rear
Pros: many people like this setup
Cons: NOt sure how this will look/ride/etc. Might me too much lift for me? Also warranty/ compatability/etc
pls offer your opinion and help me decide! Here is my truck!
