Yet another tire question BFG All-Terrain T/A KO

I just came back from my local tire shop and they quoted me a price on BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO of $220/tire (265/70/16). That price includes: install, balance, checking allignment and road hazard warranty throught the shop not insurance. The warranty works like this: they replace the tires for free for any reason minus regular wear of course. Is that a good price? They are $183 on Tire Rack but if you add the shipping/install/warranty, it's over $220... Has anyone gotten them cheaper than $220/tire?
I love the aggressive look of the thread and the reviews are great.
If anyone has this tire, what is the max size I can buy without rubbing? Any input/suggestions will be appreciated.
I drive a 2001 SR5 4WD btw.

gzkrutoy,what shop are you using? Our local Discount Tire quoted me $934 out the door which also includes the road hazzard certificates (no mileage deduction within 3 years) which also covers damage off road which is a deal maker for me since it's nice insurance to have. W/O the certificates they run about $835.

Also having lifetime rotations and balancing is nice as I get my tires balanced once every 4 rotations so I feel like I can get the most from the tires and for the $$$.

$900 is a lot but not a bad deal for BFGs but I'm still going to stick with another set of Nittos TGs for a little more than a $100 less.

I wasn't posting a great deal I found, I was posting a question if the deal I was quoted was good or not :)
It was quoted to me by a local tire shop called Bennett Street Tire, not a large chain... They are including everything in that price minus the lifetime of tire rotations btw.
They quoted me $195/tire on the Nittos and that doesn't include the road hazzard insurance.
 
Americas tire co. also known as Discount tire co...bascially they will price match and I gave them the Costco price. Costco couldnt get me the tires quick enough and they also will not mount an aftermarket size.
 
I think we offer that tire in an 8 ply for $198 including everything. Thats at Costco. But here in Montana we don't have sales tax either. Call Costco for a quote. Most, if not all of the time they are cheaper.
 
I'd go 265/75/16 if you're going to off-road at all. It's a free "lift". :D I'm also not impressed with BFG's while on-road. Especially in the wet.

I've had real good luck with Bridgestone Revo's. But next go around, I am going to try out the Nitto TG's.
 
It's crazy how a slight difference in size can make such a big difference in the price. The prices for BFG A/T's from America's tire/Discount tire (price w/o tax installation replacement certs etc):

31x10.5r15 - $141
265/75r16 - $176
265/70r16 - $208

What's even more intriguing is that the 265/70's cost more than the 265/75's.

Anyone know why there's such a big price difference such a small difference in size?

I think the 265/75 size might be more common and can be offered cheaper.

The Nittos come in at $155 for the 265/75s.
 
When I was getting new tires a few months back I went to costco and looked at the BFG's. They gave me an out the door quote of about $900. I didn't end up going with them(went with the BFG Rugged Trail A/T for $550 instead) but I think that price for the BFG All Terrains is pretty hard to beat.
