Hey all, I just have a quick question regarding a wheel/tire combo.
I recently picked up a '99 SR5, and the tires need replacing in a bad way. Rather than buy new tires for the stock wheels, I found a decent deal on a pair of 17" wheels, that will end up costing me roughly the same as new 16" tires, and some steelies for my winter tires.
Anways, the wheels have a -8mm offset, and I believe 4.5" backspace. I'm looking to put a set of 265/70/17 tires on them.
From all I can work out and read on here it sounds like I shouldn't have a lot of problems running them on stock suspension, but looking for any specific input someone may have on this specific application?
The rear shocks are also getting a bit tired, so an OME lift is in the cards for the near future
