I sent all my stock suspension to the scrap yard, I thought it would be harder to sell wore out springs and struts than it was worth. I went with toytec 3 inch with ome struts and diff drop, rides better than stock. Was going to upgrade to adj struts but I'm just doing sas here soon ..love the white always had a thing for a all white vehical

cant wait to see this thing lifted! i think you still might experience rubbing even after a 3" suspension lift and 2" body lift.

Dang. That's a seriously wide stance. I'd probably plan on getting new CV's even though you're getting a diff drop. 16yo rubber doesn't seem to like to be moved.

Yeah it looks way better in person, as always. Did they give you anything for them at the scrap yard? Contemplating if its even worth the trip to drive there or if I should just have the shop toss them.

I'll post pics after its lifted.

I plan on just getting the diff drop, lift kit and a few other things on this week. And in a few months, before winter, gonna replace whatever needs to be replaced/and or going out soon.

I know yall been asking for it, so here it is...

It's actually the perfect lift, I thought I was gonna need a 1-2" body lift but I have removed that from list and glad I didn't buy it upfront. The clearance between the fender and tire is WAY more pronounced in person. Still rubs very slightly at full lock, but I plan on purchasing less wider wheels or trimming the fenders, or getting a body lift lol.

The previous owner was a firefighter and have some stickers on the rear window. They were a ***** to remove.... I spent about an hour getting them off. I used this: Goo Gone Sticker Lifter

As far as the diff drop went.... supposedly the shop could not find the parts. I ordered the parts, but did not open the packages (lift arrived in 3 separate packages) and just left the boxes in the trunk to leave for them to open.

So I guess I have to re-order the diff drop or maybe Toyotech can hook it up with one if they forgot to put in the package.

EDIT: something I saw on the way to Les Schwab lol

looks good. i vote keep the wheels and make them work. i like the aggressive look with the wide wheels and deep lips.
