Yokohama Geo- A/T-S

I was wondering if anyone here has run the Yokohama Geolander A/T-S tires in the snow and if so how did they do?

I was thinking about a set ror my next tires.

My mom got a new set on her '99 Limited last year and she really likes them and she had no complaints with them in the snow.

If there was an issue with them I would've heard about it since I was the one who recommended them.

I do have the tires and took them offroad a couple times. Honestly, I couldnt be happier.

For the money, I def give them a thumbs up!

I like Yoko tires and feel they are a good value. You should also consider Nokian Vatiiva AT's. They have a similar design to the Yoko's with more siping for better snow traction.

Compare: 265/70/17

Yoko $122 at discount tire 40k mileage warranty.

Nokian $166 at Tires by web 60k mileage warranty. Some forum members have said these tires work well in snow. There is a thread on them somewhere at T4R.

Yoko's Are Good

I've had my set for over 30k and love them. Even wear, great wet traction, I've had them in deep mud, they don't clean well but got the job done, good in sand, and good on rock.

Great tires

I have a pair on my 2006 SR5, and did a lot of research before I got them. I finally purchased them on Tirerack.com and was very pleased with the process.

They handle great in snow, and we had a rough winter here in Wisconsin. I really like their handling in rain and on wet boat ramps pulling the boat out.

Great tires for the money!!
