Yokohama geolander M/T

Anyone here running these tires? I just found 4 new ones locally for a deal and was wondering how they compare to BFG's and MTR's?

I can't believe it! No one on here is or has ran Yokohama Geolander M/T tires? Wow, I guess maybe thats a sign to stay away from them.

I was real close to buying the H/T's. Found a better deal on another tire that I considered about as good. Otherwise I would have gotten them. Check Tire Rack reviews.

I checked reviews at the tire rack before buying my Kumhos and I am pleased with them, but sometimes there are so many mixed reviews that it gets confusing. It's always nice to hear what people on here think of certain products. Thanks for the advice!

I agree with you on asking specific people and not trusting reviews. I only said to check reviews because no one has spoken up and said anything.

I have heard that they are very noisy and rough riding, but they do well off-road and look damn cool. For me, it is probably too raw to use daily.

I have the geolander AT/S and l like them. The do well in the snow. I have not done much off road with them being that I purchased them in the fall right after I bought the truck. I like the huge mileage warranty. No idea if the AT/S is like the M/T.

Thanks for the advice guys! Thai, that's basicly what I was wondering. My primary use will be on road and I dont want to have my filling vibrate loose due to a bad tire choice! LOL

I have GeoM/T and I love it.
Between BFG and Yokohama, Yokohama is softer than BFG and good grip for on road too and I think it's one of the most quiet M/T tires.
I was worried about noise too but I don't even feel noise right after changing AT to M/T.
Asked all passenger who ride 'bout road noise but no one mentioned.

You can feel how it soft when you push it.
I tested on ice and worked fine for safe driving.
BUT!! Bad part is can not use it as long as BFG because it's soft.

Me me! I had them on my '03 4R & LOVED THEM. White Raised Lettering as well.

I have the M/T's on my 07 V8. 285/70r17’s. I like them, great handling on and offroad, but I only have about 1k miles on them. I noticed them being a little louder than my previous 265/75r16 falken A/T's I had on a 2nd gen tacoma, but I did notice the weight compared to the bald 265/65r17 hwy tires that were on the 4runner before these. The v8 does fine but I notice on hwy and steep hills that the tires have extra weight. My gas mileage also went down unfortunately but it's to be expected, I still wouldn't go back. I'm enjoying my first set of mid terrains, and first set of 33's!
