Dayyum. The other thread says it's an active spring under there, so each time they break through the water wells up and it just sinks deeper. I don't think anything short of an excavator is pulling that thing out, and it'll be trashed by spring.

this is what id do. get it running, and let it run, for as long as it takes.

that shouldnt be THAT difficult to get out.

I've done this to free stuff out of ice. Drill holes through the ice too weaken it so it can be smashed.

I've also done the use lots ice melting salt and windshield washer fluid...the anti freeze kind. I have some good for -50c. When it melts with the windshield fluid it turns to slush and you can scoop it out. Or combine drilled holes with washer fluid.

Anyone suggest dynamite yet?

I would say a truck load of salt, Like dump truck load. Run some straps under it so no more sinking deeper and get something to lift that thing up and out. If not wait until spring. Reminds me of the 80 Series LC that was left in the high Rockies over winter not long ago.

Its running, drove out - damned impressive no matter how much damage they may eventually find! The damage list so far is pretty minor, shock, tire tpms sensors...
