I believe the covers will. I just swapped the covers on my driver's seat with another driver's seat, but the bottoms did look very symmetrical. If you mean the entire bottom assemblies then definitely no.

There was a member not too long ago that posted a write up w/ pics on this. As mentioned above...you can swap the seat covers fairly easily.

BTW I didn't mess with getting new hog rings or the crimpers for them, I just zip tied the cushion on and it's holding great and you can't see any zip ties cuz it's all underneath.

Zip ties, angle grinder, PB blaster, and a metric wrench kit, will solve 95% of toyota problems.

I believe 4runner and Surf seats are identical, and I did swap my driver and pass seat bottoms to get even wear on both. Pretty straightforward, only thing to remember is that the electrical connectors for the weight sensors on the seat bottoms (to turn on the seatbelt blinking sign) are not interchangeable. The Surf had the sensors, not sure if the runners have them.

Probably not that much to try to match the leather. They do nice work- I can vouch for those guys. Ask for Arthur and if his father is still around they will treat you right.

Sorry I thought the concept was that the entire bottoms were transferrable, thanks for the thread link guys. If you're going to go to that much work you might as well just replace the material, that's my take on it.

I just did this to my 98. The bottoms are interchangeable. Take the seats out, remove the plastic side covers and then there are four bolts that hold them to the frame. Swap them and do the reverse. You can tell right away getting in because the side is still nice and firm because it the inside on the other seat. It's not broken down yet.
