I assume grandpaw must have bought this back in 2000 and only drove it to church on Sunday and must have passed away a few years ago leaving it sitting in the garage and grandmaw doesn't drive.

If they could get that for under $17,000 it is actually not a bad deal, would rather have a 2000 in new condition than buy a 5th generation

o man that is pretty, but no locker and the gold emblems turn me off :( it'll be interesting to see what it sells at.

Arent there ways to see if it really has only 12k

like carbon samples from the valves, the lettering still being visable on the hoses and belts and seeing if the odometer is actually from the same vehicle. too bad its desert dune/silver like mine

Ok..Ok the 5th gens are ugly but i wouldnt mind a 4th gen

It's being sold from a car lot.. I doubt they're gonna put their business in jeopardy by lying about mileage.

On another note, that's pretty nice. It looks like my truck when I first got it. I hope some spoiled ass first time driving kid doesn't have mommy and daddy get it for him only to see it in a wreck a month later.

Very clean, not my style, but very clean. I'm down for getting a 5th gen but the 4th's need a lot of work before they look good.

I wonder how this is possible. The add looks pretty sketchy but if I was able to take it to a trusted mech and he said it was good to go, then I think it would be a pretty good deal.

You could definitely buy it for less than KBB / haggle them down. I don't think there are that many buyers out there with the desire and means for this kind of transaction. It will probably sit for awhile.

People think just because it has low miles, it's just like new. I would never buy it for anywhere near that price. A vehicle sitting for a decade can be much worse than something with even 150K miles.

Finally some sense.

Whoever is paying 18k for that is absolutely nuts.
