So I've learned my lesson three fold now... as some may know I recently had some front diff problems. Well all of those problems are now resolved but yesterday I noticed a small oil leak. First thought... front diff. Easy. Nope not my life. It's the rear main seal. So I get the truck home, lift her up and come to find out the tc front output shaft seal has also let go. Shit. Well I have my weekend cut out for me. All of these leaks besides my shock started the night I went to play in some mud. That will never happen again that's for sure. Learn from my stupidity.

On another note, my bilstein 5100 is leaking as well. It looks like the bottom weld is the origin of the fluid. I've never seen it before so I was pretty suprised. Luckily I got a hold of Sonoran Steele and he told me that the shock is lifetime warrantied against manufacture defects. It's going to be a fun weekend.....

I've never owned a truck that *didn't* have a rear main seal leak. I always put that in the "check the fluids every once in a while" category.

She is rounding 178k so I think it's about time to run over everything and make sure she will last me another 100k. Luckily both are easy and inexpensive. The unfortunate thing is the time it takes to pull the tranny. Oh well. You gotta pay to play.

The irony is that the actual seal replacment itself takes 5 min. It just takes 4 hours to get to it.
