You Rang? (I have a Lurch problem)

I have a 2003 v8 4x4 sport with about 170K miles. Recently my truck started to slip as if on ice when accelerating from low speed, esp. when turning left or right and accelerating. Any idea what could be causing the slippage, followed by lurching forward?

Slip as in break loose and fishtail, or slip as in the car revs up and you dont go anywhere? If its the latter, sounds like your transmission is slipping, and then catches and thats when you lurch forward.

Definitely sounds like transmission is slipping. Curious to know if you've changed the ATF at all.
