I fully agree! Nothing like a road trip down the Kenai Peninsula to Homer. You can camp right on the sand beach, catch some fish and cook them up over an open fire. Not to mention a few stops into the Salty Dog Saloon. I was there last year and actually met the skipper and crew from the Time Bandit crab boat. For those of you who like the Deadliest Catch you will know who I am talking about. I enjoyed many of the towns on the way down to Homer including Ninilchik which was a great place to spend a night.

now we're talking Falls, heading out the door now to head to my cabin twenty minutes east of Hayward, going out on the sleds this weekend. The 4R is in the parking lot with both sleds loaded up.

Durango, Co and Black Bear Pass! There's also some good higher elevation trout fishing there on Lime Creek Pass.

Sounds like a blast !! I used to ride up the a lot with snowmobiles and ATV's , great fire lanes to drive on with the trucks too. You can pretty much go anywhere up there and nobody says nothing.

Have fun with the sleds , be careful.
