Dave Chapelle has one of the funniest DVDs I have ever watched, it's called "Killing Them Softly" absolutely histerical!!!!
Very politially incorrect, but then again there is nothing less funny than political corectness!!

Dane Cook's standup isn't very original unless your under 25 I guess and simply was a dissappointment after all the rage about him on the net i saw about him.

He is much better as an actor and I like him in his movies.

I can't believe nobody mentioned Robert Shimmel. He's the funniest guy ever and the only comedian who made me laugh so hard that I had to go out and buy all of his CDs. He's got some seriously funny bits.

old guys know Steven Wright

very deadpan delivery. Strange notes of everyday activities.

Early Bill Murray made me just about piss my pants every time. His lounge singer act from Saturday Night Live with Paul Shaffer beating on the ivories. Caddyshack-Stripes -even Meatballs has some classic Murray.

Newer stuff of his or his newer movies takes awhile to grow on me. Lost in Translation I had to watch 3 times to appreciate the mood and tone. Broken Postcards-where he goes back to revisit old girlfriends-guys who can't relate to that...?


Very old guys will remember Foster Brooks as a drunk. I even liked the Rat Pack and they were way before my time.

Eddie Murphy doing "Roxanne" acapella to open up movie "48 Hours" that was classic cinema also. That dude has some talent, Robin Williams also freakin hilarious once he gets going, his mind moves at incredible pace.
