Youtube Music and Entune

Google Play Music is dead and everything has switched over to Youtube Music. Any suggestions if Entune can play nice? Every once in a while the cover art and song pop up on the screen but pretty much nothing after that....

I keep waffling back and forth from Spotify to Youtube Music, but I was a Google Play music person from the start.

Not sure who's "fault" it is, Google's or Entune's.

I totally agree that google music is a dead sh*it, I like to use Spotify or even just to download music from YouTube as an mp3 file. It is really more comfortable than using google services and opens a huge number of rare tracks. As a person who can't imagine his life without music, I really appreciate that nowadays to use you such programs, as convert2, is so easy. Converters are based on a simple code. It is needed to insert the link to the video and wait a second of converting. Of course, it is totally free. YouTube music works really harder for high monthly payment.

My Etunes will play whatever my phone is playing via the bluetooth connection.
My stored music, streaming audio, etc.

If you buy a subscription to Camtasia by Tech Smith, you can screen record YouTube Videos and then save the audio only. I use Camtasia for various computer based instructional and training videos for things I develop, and I sometimes grab something off of YouTube and then rip the audio only.

It's super easy and the sound quality is actually great, all things considered.

I totally agree with you. Youtube music is incredible. Unfortunately, it is not for free, and you have to pay about five dollars per month if you want to use Youtube music. That is why it is easier and cheaper to use an mp3 converter like Online YouTube to MP3 Converter & Playlist Downloader and download music from youtube on your phone. You will have offline access to any songs available on youtube, and I think it is really worth it. Check it out by yourself.

I'm in the same boat as you coming from Google Play Music. Youtube Music looks pretty but, like most new google products, just doesn't do everything the app it replaced did. To this day Youtube Music still can't properly shuffle a playlist longer than 25 tracks.

As long as you're just using bluetooth to stream the audio I believe the headunit is actually the source of the album art via gracenote. If the music you're playing is newer than your car or obscure you won't get the cover. I'm not sure if you can update the gracenote, maybe someone can chime in if the radio updates from toyota include gracenote updates.

I have been a Slaker radio user for a long time, now LiveXLive. But i am finding more and more non licensed songs I cant play so I am contemplating getting YouTube Music too.

Though it appears you don't need a subscription for YouTube music to play music. Just the ability to play with your phones screen off.

The app for my head unit would make it more integrated so I may get it. But i think it $10 a month which I am already paying $10 a month for slacker which i have always liked.
 
I use this site instead of karaoke when I want to sing an old tune but I don't want to listen to a nasty sound on some poor quality site. I like 2pac song lyrics and when the tune comes on it's very convenient to follow the subtitles. Sometimes I put the songs on speakers and follow the speed of the lyrics on another site and try to sing along. This also happens when the neighbours aren't around and I'm not disturbing anyone. I'll be adding to my collection to sing soon, any tips for speed reading or speeding?
