Zainos Polish

Hi all,

I just recieved Zainos -AIO "all in 1 polish protectant".

I`ve read tips here and on Zainos boards. I`m not claying, but

will wash the truck down with Dawn wash to remove the old wax etc.......

I have a few questions and if anyone using the polish have any
tips, greatly apppreciated. I never used polsih,always wax.
I dont know what to expect other then to use sparingly.

I do understand the points on not applying alot with applicator,
and also by hand, not machine

Does the polish completley dry? Or does it stay a lil oily?
I was going to do it today but, its the first sizzler of the year, tempeture in the Rotten Apple expected around 95 and humid.
I figured the high humidity would play a major roll in the polishes
curing.

I used NXT car wax in past and I love this stuff, but I use to keep
the foam applicator a lil damp when applying, can I do the same with polish. The cotton applicator can I moisten it with water before applying the polish? One coat protect my clear coat.
I can apply another coat another week in the near future.

Ease of removal? (hopefully)

I've used Zaino for a couple of years now. ZAIO is a great single step process, but can not layer on itself. You would layer ZAIO with either Z2 or Z5. The important part of using a polymer like Zaino is to make sure the paint is well prepped. I would clay to remove any bonded impurities, polish with a PC if you have any scratches or swirl marks. Zaino does not do a good job of filling in scratches, even though Z5 is supposed to have that feature.

Regarding wetting the pad, I usually use Z6 quick detailing spray. I dilute the Z6 with 1/3 distilled water. ZAIO will dry just like wax and is easily removed. I use a soft microfiber towel for removal. BTW, a little goes a long way, don't use too much material.

Zaino looks spectacular after a couple of layered coats of Z2 (light colored paint) or Z5 (dark color) after the ZAIO. You will be amazed.
