Does anyone know the details of the both that goes there? I tried an M12-30, but only got a few threads in.

I'm trying to install my replacement Shin guards, but since the original hardware got lost with the shin guards, I'm not sure what I need to pick up at the hardware store.

Thanks!

Not entirely sure but Toyota loves fine pitch bolts generally
That would be an M12 1.25 (or very rarely 1.5) But seriously I'd spend the extra $2 and grab both coarse and fine.

This was the JIS sizing that Exp Portal considers std for a Toyota:
Common JIS sizes on Toyotas (mostly considered metric fine thread):

16mm x 1.50
14mm x 1.50
12mm x 1.25
10mm x 1.25
8mm x 1.25
6mm x 1.00

Much appreciated Swarty! I'll shop for a fine pitch tomorrow. M12 is the right thickness. It's just the pitch that's off on what I got. When I tried it in the parking lot, I thought that it got too hard to tighten by hand because of rust. I guess the pitch was the issue.

Thanks

If memory serves me correctly, it is m12 x 1.25. I remember buying the tap.....

I'm 90% sure.

I had bashed one of my lower shock mount bolts and bought the FJToyman lower shock mount skid and decided to buy two new shock mount bolts. This was the PN from Toyota. Took a day to get them in.

Ended up picking up a M12x1.25 30 and that worked like a charm. Went to the hardware store because my local dealer is terrible. Cost was about the same. $2.50 per bolt and 0.50 per washer.

Toyota part number: 90119-A0018 (so you can copy and paste instead of retyping of the image)

Thanks for the details!

I picked up the bolt from toyota and can confirm M12-1.25 x 25mm with a captive washer that has an OD of about 38mm.

PN:901191-A0018 for $8.80 and took two days to get one into my usual stealership.

Edit: Also Torque to 72 ft*lbs with a 17mm socket
