Bilstein 6112s & 5100 / 99 Talls for the Rear in the Mail - Question

As the title says I have 6112's for the fronts & 5100 with 99 talls (well technically ACDelco 45H2131 which are the same specs/dimensions) for the rear in the mail.

I also ordered new top hats, new bushings and washers, along with LBJs and some other maintenance items.

My question is, will I need any spacers to level out this setup or should the 6112's provide enough adjustability to balance everything out, was hoping for
a mild 1 to 1 3/4" lift.

What year is your 4Runner? All the info I saw stated that 6112s are for 2010 - 2018 4runners. 5100s work well on 3rd gens. I myself just did the Tundra TRD coils with 5100's fronts and that got me to 21.5" (hub to fender) and Ill be installing OME 906's in the rear with 0-2" 5100's in the rear.

If you have a 2010 - 2018 Runner you might want to post this question in the 5th gen forum.
 
I doubt the 99 talls on the rear will get you more then 1" additional height .
My 2000 ltd went from 20" to 21" with the 99's front and rear . I installed
air bags to help when hauling my dirt bike on a hitch carrier . That worked fine.

The 6112's have different perch settings you can use, I had mine on the tallest ones and gained about 2.5" inches of lift. If you use the lower settings, you'll easily get 1-1.5"

they make 6112s for 3rd gens now look at Bilstiens site for PNs and details. Mines an 2002 though

Well that's good to know. I have a 2001. Let us know how it rides. I'm sure the Moderators will like to update the Lift FAQ's with another lift option.
 
5160's are due out soon as well for 3rd gen. I'll be running nearly the same setup as OP, except for 5160 rears.

Op, can you post pics and driving impressions when you're able?

To summarize - Bilstein 6112s Upfront (6th/5th perch), Bilstein 5100 Rear w/ ACDelco 45h2131 (99' Talls) & OME 10mm Rear Spacers... Totals for ~ 1.5" lift all around

I also replaced my LBJs, UBJs, OTRs, Swaybar Bushings, & Swaybar end links... The car feels like a brand new vehicle, bumps were very sharp and jarring, now the vehicle obsorbs them with a lot more finesse. Not nearly as violent and bumpy. I'm very happy with this setup, the lift is nice but I borderline wish I went for a full 2". The awesome thing is I can easily do this by just adjusting the 6112's and replacing the springs with something like the OME 906's

I presume your 6112 are not at the highest setting?

Nope, there are 9 perches on the 6112s (see this link here from Bilstein) I'm on 6/5 which correspond to a 1.3" lift per their documentation, in hindsight It might have been better to go for 7/6 for a 1.6" lift but the car is pretty level as is and I likely won't mess with it.

Perches 9/8 correspond to a 2.3" lift.

Looks great! You might find the rear sags in time and especially with your trailer you mentioned. But as you said, OME906s are easy and quick to swap in later.
