Heater hose lines off of the water pump?

What engine do you have?
They are both pretty short........If you have the 5VZ they run from almost the center of the firewall to the back of the engine.

If your runner is sporting a V6 the heater hoses come off the back of the engine. One line has a valve in it to control flow of coolant through the heater core. Located at firewall almost right behind the throttle body.
