RS3000 Alarm on the fritz

Anyone else experience any problems with there security system? Today, I pushed the keyfob to unlock, it unlocked, but chirped like it was re arming itself. so i opened the door and sure enough it went off, and then I couldn't get the damn thing to shut off, no matter what I did. Pretty damn embarrassing, especially in front of my gym. So finally after about 5 minutes, I was able to get it shut off by turning the ignition on/off on/off about 10 times.

I know how you feel. Mine was doing the same thing... definitely embarrassing. Luckily I was always able to get mine to turn off when I started it.

You can put it in valet mode. That disables the alarm but the keyless entry still works. I finally replaced my keyless entry system, but the valet mode worked well in the meantime.

I ended up just resetting and reprogramming it today. Works fine now....untill next time!
