I've added a 3/4 quart of used oil on my tank - way to dispose a used oil

I think this is the video the OP is talking about. What I find funny, is the youtube dude says putting it back in the tank "is the perfect cycle of life". What he probably doesn't know, is when you recycle oil at a legitimate recycler, it can be refined back into a base oil. An even perfecter cycle of life.

Don’t take his advice OP. Keep on doing what your doing. I want to see how long it takes until catastrophic failure.
 
I think the OP is just confused. He thought he had the rare and highly sought after, 2 stroke 4runner we've all heard about. Or maybe he's got a serious mosquito problem he's working on. Gonna smoke em out!
 
There are people around here paint their fences with their used oil from their farm equipment and other vehicles. They've been doing it for over 100+ years.
 
OP, don't overlook this method as a convenient and elegant way to dispose of old paint, brake fluid, and out of date milk in your fridge.

I had an aunt/uncle who used it on their shingle siding (cedar, I think). It does the trick.
 
I'd go a step further to recommend installing a catch can and just never empty it. Burning oil adds at least 10HP, 5MPG, & acts as a backup fuel source!
 
yes, that's the guy i watched. i knew it was stupid but for the sake of science, maybe it's something that is doable. thank you for the concern everyone and for the hurtful comments but it's okay.

i did this because my frame might soon fail on me and maybe 2-3 years down the line, i might not pass the annual inspection. selling it is not an option since i dont' want to pass on something that could cause their life, if you know what i mean.

I'm not sure which is worse, burning it in the combustion chamber of a Toyota or pouring it on the ground and then light it on fire.

hey, i'm not looking to create the best videos ever with too much talking, just go straight to the point. i'm only giving people some info and decide for themselves what works for them. this is just what i like doing for the sake of science and education. when you are in a situation where disposing a used oil is impossible, one quart every other fill up would be okay.

as of rightnow, my 6 quarts of used oil are all gone and my 4runner seems not to mind it. just saying, it will be fine. in the end, you guys still decide on your own what you believe in.

it's worse if you pour it on the ground and light it since it does not go through the catalytic converter to clean the air. you know how much black smoke it makes. if it's through the engine, it gets burned better through the catalytic converter.

i'm making it like a 2 stroke engine. :banana: in addition to that, it helps getting rid of mosquito. :)

we do. that's what i used to do before. a long time ago, others said, the world is flat, then they tried to reach the end of it and failed. there are a lot of impossible things other people believe in and in the end it was true. same here with burning oil on the engine that may be impossible but i think is possible if you do it right. our engines burn oil anyway going past the oil ring, i'm just helping it burn some more. :)
