Switching from mineral to synthetic engine oil. Flush?

Time for my first oil change since I bought this T4R. Planning to move to Mobil 1 5-30 and want to do it myself. My 4Runner been meticulously maintained per books by previous owner (as per service records) and always at local Toyota stealership. I assume they use mineral oil. Do I need to flush engine before filling with synthetic or just draining will do? Same question for differentials/TC. Thanks

No there is no real reason to flush the engine. Flushing could cause real problems by sending junk now stuck flowing through your bearing.

You can switch back and forth between synthetic and conventional oil every single oil change without any worries at all. No need to even think about flushing the engine. If the vehicle was really well cared for like you said, you shouldn't even consider flushing the engine.

The Motor doesnt Know weather its Dino Oil or Synth !!!
Use what you want as you want when you want !!!
Just change it and the filter regular.
