would stock tall 99 front/906 rear work?

I'm going to have to say no, you'll have a noticeable rake. 881's and 906's will work better.

Actually it works great. Tall 99 front, 906 rear that is. I saw a picture with that exact setup just the other day...lemme see if I can find it.....

of course it will depend on any extra weight from gear you may carry, or bumper changes etc, but you should end up w/ about 36" to the fender on the front and 36.5" on the rear with that set up. When i was originally trying to figure out what i wanted to do i put everything in a table ... should be able to view it in Word format.....

Nice table. I'm a little confused though. Column 2 and 3 appear to be identical in spec, yet column 3 shows a half inch more height in the rear?? Could you clarify?

Check the amount of miles on the suspension for those two. I originally was given a pair of rear 99 springs by SIKHILUXSURF. It was a great gesture and much appreciated but they were old and felt SLOPPY while driving. I'm pretty sure he had some spacers on them increasing the preload, so he probably never noticed it while they were on his rig. The 3rd column is after i purchased new from the dealer 99 "tall" springs for the rear.
I'm running 99 tall coils in the front and 906s in the rear... The rear is about 1/2 inch higher than the front in my 2000 SR5.
and another...
The street slants towards the house, so you see a little more wheel gap in these pictures compared to level ground. No complaints about the set up... I tried the '99 coils in the rear but wound up with a reverse rake. The 99 OEM coils were also pretty weak... couldn't really carry much in the rear without major sag.

Any way you could take the time to give us some measurements, and some specs on the truck so i could fill in a bit more on my spreadsheet?
Also any idea how much weight you can add to the rear before you are sagged to level?
I was thinking about switching to some OME springs for at least the rear for a future "adventure" but i'm looking for something that will keep the ass off the ground after i stack a good amount of gear in it.
The measurements differ for each side... they've always been a little off. Pretty sure the gas tank is less than a 1/4 full as well at the current moment.
From ground to fender lip...

Not entirely sure I can answer your other question about amount of weight and sag, I've never been scientific with it. Gerdo has a thread on YT where he tests the 890s/891s... but I haven't seen anyone do that with the 906s.
I take a lot of road trips with the family and the Runner is usually packed full, I've never noticed any sag with the 906s. Even with trips to HD or Lowes, I haven't noticed much sag (if there was... i'd be upgrading to the 890s/891s).

That gives me a good idea. Maybe i'll have to give the 906's a try. I was thinking about going taller all around, but really don't see a need to up front. If the 906 can handle a little extra weight w/ out sagging below the "level" mark, then they would probably be perfect.

Pretty sure he used the 4600, and the part numbers should be (double check to be sure):
Front - 24-187244 (for 4WD)
Rear - 24-024518

I have this set up on mine. I don't have the part #s right here but I have the yellow and blue Bilstien HDs. Any parts store site should give you the part numbers. It seems a few of us run this set up. Works OK.
I must say that if you use this on a 4 cyl like mine the front may end up a little taller than the rear still. I'm 1/4 inch taller up front. I think the heavier V6 front end drops it down a bit.
