Anyone know of any reputable shops for installs in FL?

The girl is getting very pregnant so unfortunately I can't get out to someone I trust to do my lift/UCAs/tires/etc. I was wondering of anyone knew of any reputable Toyota specialists in Florida (Tampa/Orlando is where I'm at).

I would do it myself by time and physical injuries are holding me back a little. Also, while I've done installs on my old STI, I just don't want to mess this up. I want it done right, level, and error free.

Tires just came in so I'd like to get it done soon. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm not opposed to doing it myself. I have access to a lift but the whole KDSS thing is sketching me out

I heard some mixed things about them... and they seem to favor Jeep stuff VS having a solid mix of vehicle experience. Were they reasonably priced? How was your experience?

I think I saw your orange pro on base the other day. I was in my patrol car and couldn't say hi unless I pulled you over ^______^

just saw this... hands down Southern Tire Company in South Tampa! Ask For Jamel and tell him Chris Wright sent you. (813) 839-6261

Tampa Off Road is great for Jeep and FST stuff. They have done some FJ work but I am not sure about 4runners. They just moved their shop. If you go there talk to Ian.

I will second what Stifler said - Southern Tire on Macdill in south Tampa. Jamel will take care of you. Been there several times for my 5th Gen suspension/tire work and upgrades.

Yeah I'm a K9 cop. You can catch me in an MGM past JCSE toward the golf ball. I'm down for a meet/cruise whenever. There is an of road park somewhere around the area too. There was another guy here with a black 2014 but he has been banned

I keep hearing southern tire southern tire... so I think I'll go there. You and a coworker of yours recommended it so I may just hit them up. I'm just worried about the whole KDSS thing. I was supposed to call Tuesday but its been busy at work.

oh ya? hmmmm I have a 2015 Black lifter SR5. I am usually parked at the lot closest to the Bayshore gate across from CENTCOM

Just got off the phone with Jamel and he said its a no-go on getting the lift installed. They do the bare basics. But they made a recommendation to Ideal Automotive off of 60... anyone heard of them?

So the Ideal place had very bad reviews and I went to check Tampa Offroad and they were pretty pricey. 900 bucks for lift/mount/balance/alignment. I was hoping for around 6 out the door

I'm thinking about just doing the install myself at this point. Can't be too difficult if its anything similar to my Subaru coilovers.

He said no because its not really their forte. They will.do simple shocks and leveling/spacer kits but since this is a full blown suspension replacement he said I should take it someone where that is exactly what their business does. He wanted me to get what I wanted and I guess he felt they couldn't provide the level of service I required... which I respected a lot.

What lift kit did you get that it would cost 900 to install? They charged my wife 500 to do my Jeep lift and Tha was a long arm

Icon stage 1.

He said 8 hours of work and it could range from 6 to over 8. If it was over 8 he said the owner is pretty cool with eating the cost and if it was under it would be credited back/adjusted. Then it was 100 for mount/balance and another 100 for alignment.

Anyone know of any reputable shops for installs in FL?
