Well, color is all subjective. Not a color I'd buy but it's nice to see some interesting colors. I, myself, got tired of driving black, white, silver and grey cars for 30 years. I couldn't stand it anymore. That's why I bought my voodoo blue 4Runner. Jeep offers a lot of cool colors for the wrangler. Toyota should definitely expand their color pallet.

Sell the same product to people, slap a new color on it, raise the price...watch the dummies flock to it.

If a business is meeting their goals, why would they change? While I wish they would update the 4Runner with a select handful of actual upgrades and improvements in areas that users of 4Runners would benefit from, if it works and sells to their desired volume where's the incentive for them to mess with that?
The other aspect of the 4Runner is what vehicle out there directly competes with it?
Hello everyone, I’m new to this forum and also to 4Runners. I recently purchased a 19 trd off road with 19k miles but am now considering a 2022 4runner trail for the same price. I’d love some feedback. I am able to return the 2019 trd off road without any penalties. Thanks in advance.
I would not give up a TRD OR for a Trail. The trail is an SR5 with some extras like rack, the cooler, and wheels. All of which you can just add to your TRD. You lose your rear locker, Crawl Control, and MTS. If the off road goodness doesn't matter to you, then you do you.

What the previous post says is true. You’ll lose some features that hardcore off-roaders use. But, the 2022 has blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, CarPlay, front collision avoidance, and some other technology advances. If you don’t do hardcore off-roading, you’ll likely never use the rear locker, crawl control, etc. So, long story short - where will you spend your time driving?
