Previous owner of my 2010 4Runner replaced rear brake lines starting from the connector on the driver's side. I am in the process of replacing front and rear brake lines and hoses and want to make sure that everything was done properly. According to this diagram, there are 4 lines that run from master cylinder.
1 - Rear Passenger's Side
2 - Front Passenger's Side
3 - Front's Driver's Side
4 - Rear Driver's Side
Lines 1 and 4 pass through a connector that is located on the driver's side frame.
One million dollar question. Which line is the upper one on this connector and which line is the lower one?
As you can see in the image, the previous owner cut OE lines and routed new ones around the fuel tank.
I am not sure if it will make much difference, but I don't want to connect the lines the other way around.
