I have a 1988 4Runner with the factory IFS, I can't find out what size the socket is that I need to remove my spindle nuts to replace my weel bearings, if it has anything else to do with it it does have the 3.0 V6. Thanks

Please please please do not tap those nuts off with a screwdriver. I just spent all day on a 2 hour brake job because the previous owner mangled the nut and I had to clean it with a dremel before I could get the socket over it.
You'll have trouble finding it locally. Your dealer might have one (which you'll likely pay through the nose for). I got mine from a local guy that works on Landcruisers. Or you can order on line from joints like WabFab, which is what I almost did.

Buy from Wab Fab or someone that makes it for your truck. The depth of the socket matters almost as much as the right size.
