How do you program the fob remote keyless entry on a 2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Sports Edition?

The seller is claming the part number to be FCC ID: HYQ12BAN and it works for 2003 Toyota 4Runner how can I check this?

Step 6 A. I found that its works when you don't hold the two buttons but press them instead then press and hold the lock button.

Oh and the FCC ID is on the back of the fob if you are replacing or getting an extra one. If you don't have one then I suppose you could take my word that it is the correct number since I just replaced my remote and programmed it about five minutes ago. Make sure that the remote has a rear window button since Highlanders use the same remote with the same FCC ID but with no rear window button.

Not trying to hijack this thread but would you need to reprogram the fob after a battery change?
