Best Online place to find a replacement

I am in dire need of finding a replacement 4Runner after mine was totaled last week. I have been scouring the interweb with no luck.

I looked on autotrader, cars.com, ebay, and carmax.

Any other cites i am missing?

Because it's local...so you can check it out in person.

I had a friend that bought a Corvette over Ebay & w/o seeing it person. I don't know the whole story behind it, that's all I know.

Man tell me about it! I have been looking at Craigslist everyday too. The problem is that my search is very specific. 04'-06' Black/taupe Limited 4x4 v8

Let me know if you hear of any around your parts

Just so you guys know, I went to Edmunds.com and did a pricing report on the candidate linked above. Added every option and the SF zipcode and only got 18k, 20k if sold as a factory-certified.

I point this out since new/used car and truck prices are down big time but some sellers are asking last year's prices.

Even if you think it is a good price, research the vehicle on Edmunds or KBB.

Exactly! Our economy isn't doing very well with lots of layoffs. There may be some bargains coming up, but it just might not be the color you want. That is just something to consider. Heck, you might even be able to pocket some cash from your settlement after you buy a truck.
