WS or IV tranny fluid for a 2004 V6 model...not the V8

Which transmission fluid do I use for a 2004 V6. I know that the V8 5speed changed to WS tranny fluid, but I need to make sure the 2004 V6 4speed uses IV tranny fluid. Thanks guys.

The V6 didn't get the new tranny until 2005.

An easy rule-of-thumb for the 2003-2009 4Runner: if you have a tranny dipstick (the handle is orange), then it uses T-IV. If you do not have a dipstick, then it's ATF-WS.

Thanks guys I installed a tranny cooler today and I needed to add some fluid to fill in the cooler unit and extra tubing. I will be towing stuff from Cali to Maine. Long trip.............. I will post some picks as i'll be hitting up Utah areas...Arches, Zion and Moab, and a bunch of other epic spots.
