Wire the switch... pretty easy. Use shrink tube to prevent shorting.
The connector should fit onto the spayed connectors that you put in. One thing to keep in mind. The top of the two poles is the ground (white wire). T

Zip tie the wires to the harness to keep them tidy and in one place
Fit the switch into the blank. It won't be there perminently BUT if you attach your wires, you can find out how much slack you can cut from the wires.
Pop out one of the blanks and fish the other end of your wires through. Just leave them hanging through the dash for now.
I used a coat hanger to GENTLY fish the wires through the gromet.
