Haha I only made 2 posts with a "story." I'm thinking if an aftermarket amp is already connected to the back of my current radio, it should be just plug and play with the JBL radio. More input would be appreciated from anyone with similar setups.

Well i am running an aftermarket amp and speakers already anyway. Having said that, would te JBL unit work? I want to keep a factory look.

This weekend, I put a cd in the stock, non-JBL radio. It accepted it, but then wouldn't play. It jumped over to the AUX input and won't go back to CD, so it won't play the CD. It also will not eject the CD. Is there some kind of reset or anything here?

Great. How hard is it to remove the factory cloth? Have any tips?

Are the cushions for the cloth seats the same as the leather seats? I'm planning to buy replacement leather seat covers, and want to make sure the fit will be nice and snug.

For anyone who has painted pieces on their 4R themselves, have you gotten it to polish out and be as reflective as the rest of the body? I don't know what it is, but I've now painted the mirors and the center grill piece to match the body. The color itself is a near-perfect match. However...
