Hi forum, I'm new here with questions. Have a '94 Runner with the 3VZ-E that threw a rod. Considering rebuilding it but I was wondering if I could swap a 5VZ-FE in without a lot of trouble? I heard the 3VZ-E isn't a very good engine. And the extra power is only a plus obviously. Thanks.

Thanks a lot! I also read on another forum that you can swap the DOHC heads to the 3VZE for some more power. Is it worth doing that?
