'94 Runner, 3VZ-E to 5VZ-FE swap question.

Hi forum, I'm new here with questions. Have a '94 Runner with the 3VZ-E that threw a rod. Considering rebuilding it but I was wondering if I could swap a 5VZ-FE in without a lot of trouble? I heard the 3VZ-E isn't a very good engine. And the extra power is only a plus obviously.

That swap has been done many times.
you will need a lot of components from both engines.
the best thing to do is find a donor vehicle that is running a crashed or rusted out one is what your looking for youll need the engine tranny computer motor mounts and a bunch of other things.

Pirate 4x4 is a good information site but the guys there are real jerks if your not a toyota guru they will flame you for any question so have a thick skin if you ask a question there
