What is the correct order of rear brake lines?

I just replaced all of those lines on our '10. I used oem lines from Toyota. I am guessing that the old owner did not want to mess with removing the fuel tank etc. to use them. The #47324 (lower one) should be going to the right rear if I remember correctly?

    2010 TE Brake lines

I just replaced both rear hard brake lines along the frame as well as the hard lines on the rear differential and the soft ones going from the frame to the rear end. 12 years of north Jersey winters perforated the lines. They were worst where the thicker factory covering ended. This may be...

    Fuel removal...

So our 2010 4runner Trail is in our garage and not going back on the road until the parts come in for the brake line repairs. The truck was brought in to the dealer for an oil change, they said the truck was unsafe to drive. Our brake lines looked a bit worse than yours. Any hints/suggestions...

    Undercoating?

New Jersey reply here: My son has a 2002 Tacoma double cab that still had a decent amount of Noxudol 300 on it from the Toyota voluntary recall. We simply washed and reapplied over the entire frame. Not wanting to apply a different product over the top of it. We used Noxudol 700 cavity wax...

    85 4runner

After 35 years in the northeast the cargo area was rusted beyond spot repairs. This is what the truck looked like after all the damaged metal was removed I purchased a junkyard bed from a Chevy S 10. That became the donor for the rear cargo area. Ironically enough, the measurement in between...

    Aluminum wheel resto

I am restoring a set of OEM aluminum Toyota wheels. I plan on removing the tires and bead blasting the wheels to bare aluminum for prep. Anyone have any suggestions beyond that? What paints have you used? I am going with a gun metal color. Thanks for your thoughts.

    2010 4runner wheel bearing

I just wanted to pass this along. Our 2010 Trail edition with 120,000 miles was getting noisy up front. A tire related sound. It was like having a knobby tire on the drivers side, steer to the right, the sound stopped. Drive straight or to the left, sound continued. Had a mechanic friend ride...

    Tire recommendations 2010 Trail

We are about to invest in new tires for our 2010 4Runner Trail. The truck has 120,000 miles on it and we plan to keep it for the duration. We currently have Bridgestone Dueler HT's on it. The vehicle is a commuter car, no off road use. We live in N.J. so we do see all sorts of weather. Anyone...

Thank you guys both for your replies, will get into this over the weekend. Nothing new done to the truck electric-wise. Will keep you posted.

    1985 4runner battery draw...

Ok the new battery in my runner lasted about a week. Meter shows that there is a 10 amp or so draw on the battery. isolating the starter, alternator showed no change in the draw. The 80 amp fuseable link in the under hood fuse block is where the draw has been located. When that lead is...

    '85 steering box question

Okay our long winter is over and I am ready to deal with the steering issues on my 1985 4runner. The truck is stock except for an OME lift. The milage on the vehicle is 165,000. Last time I got the truck aligned it was suggested that the steering box was worn to the point that it affected the...

    1985 4 Runner steering box

I was told when I went for an alignment after I put on my OME lift that the steering box was worn and affected getting the alignment dialed in. The alignment was done by a friend who is a Toyota mechanic at the dealership. Before I invest in new tires, I want to correct this problem. I have been...
