well i was going to go that route but i dont know what brand it is or if i can even get replacement fobs for it. The guy at the stealership said the toyota brand fobs wouldnt work with it since its an aftermarket system and not a toyota alarm.

Judging my the tripometer and the fuel gauge im gonna be lucky to get 200 miles out of a tank. Fresh plugs, air filter, fuel filter, plug wires and seafoam treatment. Had this truck about a month now and it drinks gas, i just cant figure out why. its not a large V6, it has ZERO power yet...

See if you can grease the bearing on the snout. I have zero experience with Toyota Alts but i was able to do this on an old Honda and my current VW. they made a little noise so i took the belt off loosened the bolt and greased the heck out of it.

Whats up everybody, just bought a 2001 4runner and figured id drop in and introduce myself. Love my truck so far, no mods planned really other than a set of 265/75's coming in the mail. Truck will be a daily kid hauler/beach machine. :hatsoff:
