Whats up everybody, just bought a 2001 4runner and figured id drop in and introduce myself. Love my truck so far, no mods planned really other than a set of 265/75's coming in the mail. Truck will be a daily kid hauler/beach machine.

thanks all, yeah the truck needs a bath and detailing some kind of bad. hopefully can do that today. I am very funny about my vehicles, i want them to be as close to brand new factory clean as i can get them. My VW is waxed in the door jambs if it tells you anything lol.

No stranger to forums so i have a good habit of searching and checking stickeys when i need to figure something out. I already checked out the forum for instructions on the keyless fob programming and some opinions on Suspension setups as well as tire sizes.

Some really nice trucks on this site and good info as well.

Yup this site is bad. looks like im going home to do the ISR mod and Elbow mod. lolol i don't think ive had a car that lasted 2 weeks before i mod'ed it somehow or another.

Here is my other daily beater, 125k VW passat bought for 2600. i like to spin the wrenches and shes been good to me so far. got 22 mpg around town and around 28 mpg on the interstate. not too shabby for an old VR6
