my 2002 4runner came without the part above the tyre that protects / prevents dirt from getting in between the door axle and into the engine. I need to purchase a replacement but i don't know the name of it.

Here is the thing. I am not in the US and this isn't something i can find easily as a walk in store. I am not going to cut the plug off. i am going to strip the insulation and tie into the existing plugs. if it has to be remove i can use electrical tape to re insulate.

I bought a new head unit for my 2002 4runner SR5 but i don't have a wiring harness. I am planning on splicing the wires from the new head unit directly into the car wires. Just before the plug itself. can anyone let me know the purpose of each wire??? thanks in advance.

oh ok. How do i know if it is 4wd? i don't see the extra shifter but i see one of the fuses labeled 4wd. how do i tell
